Fast and safe passenger boarding and deplaning are the foundation of efficient airport operations. Blumenbecker manufactures passenger stairs in various designs according to the specific requirements of airports and airlines—in compliance with DIN EN 12312-1.

Custom Aircraft Stairs for Every Application
Our passenger stairs are not off-the-shelf products. Every airport has its own requirements regarding platform height, number of steps, and drive type.

That’s why we offer a modular system from which you can configure your own custom passenger stairs:
Pedestrian-guided stairs – towed and manually operated
Self-propelled stairs – with a driver’s seat and hydraulic controls
Solar-powered models – environmentally friendly and low-maintenance

All stair treads are made of a special non-slip aluminum profile and are designed to withstand a load of 500 kg/m².
